A DISCIPLINE STORY

There was once 3 men who were very poor, they all went to God to ask for wealth. God said He promise them wealth if they would collect the biggest stones as much as they can in a land God has stated. The next day, they set off and collected stones. The 3 men collected many big stones and decided to get back. On their way, 2 men decided to take out the big stones because they thought it was too heavy, but the third man keeps on carrying them while the other two laughed at him for his ‘foolishness’. When they decided to rest, suddenly there was a voice that asks them to look in their sack. The 3 men were shocked to find gemstones in it, the stones became gemstones! When the 2 lazy men saw the third men, all that’s left are regrets and sadness. But it was a too late already. The third man has became rich but he didn’t take it all, he gave some to help his poor village.

Plato and His Student

An ancient Greek philosopher, Plato has a group of students who comes to him and listens to his teachings, One day, his student asks him “Teacher, what should we learn today?” Plato kept quiet, he then took the student’s head and put it in a barrel of water. The student was shocked and can only struggle hard to get out of the water, after his got out of the water, he asks, “Why did you put my head in the barrel of water?” Plato simply replied,”If you have the spirit to reach success like the spirit you put to get your head out of the water, you can reach success without much difficulties.”

The 3 Blind Men - An Inspiring Indian Folk Story

One day, 3 Indian men went to find out what an elephant is, they refused to hear what others say about it. The first man touched the tusks and said,”An elephant is as sharp as a spear!” The second man touched its ears and said,”An elephant is as flexible as a leaf!” The third man touched it tail, and said,”An elephant is as long as snake!” The tree men went home, imagining the wrong picture of an elephant. :)
